#EchoWarriors Stories

Warriors – We want your stories!

In the effort to provide a safe place for survivors to share their journey, I’m creating the #‎EchoWarriors‬ Stories Project.  Here, you can submit your story anonymously, and it will be published on The Phoenix Gathering.   Now,  you will have a way to speak up, and other survivors can gain courage and strength from YOU, as well as seeing that they truly are not alone in their own journey of healing.

I want the topic of being a Survivor of childhood abuse to stop being a taboo, hush-hush subject.   EchoWarriors echo in a way that carries by sharing their stories so it can be heard by others, which in turn helps others to know that they aren’t alone.

In order to keep this a safe environment for our
#EchoWarriors Tribe, these are the guidelines for submissions:

  • Be mindful – avoid sharing explicit or elaborate details that may cause triggers in other survivors. Examples of this would be very specific details of past sexual abuse or physical abuse. What may not trigger us, may heavily trigger someone else.

  • Language that is considered derogatory concerning race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or other minority status is unacceptable, and will not be posted.

  • Any specific names of abusers will be omitted for privacy reasons.

Now for the legal stuff:

  • The Phoenix Gathering page admins hold the right to edit any submissions, to make sure that they meet these guidelines.

  • If a submission cannot be posted, we will contact you to let you know why, and give you the opportunity to edit and re-send your submission.

  • Your email address will NOT be shared or sold to anyone, and will only be used if we need to contact you for any potential editing issues.
