Letting it Go.

I was recently reminded of a Zen Proverb that was a total life game changer for me – “Let go or be dragged”. It is serendipitous that it is gracing my screen once more. When you start writing, actually writing with pen to paper, there is so much that offers up to be let go. My story’s beginning is raw, painful, hard to write, little lone recall again.

There is so much I had forgotten, squashed down, and locked away. If I let the weight of it all begin its crushing decent, it threatens to drag me back down a very dark, desolate, lonely rabbit hole. If it weren’t for the love and support of my husband, family, closest friends, and all of the tools, education, insight, and my pretty kick-ass inner warrior queen that gives a really good ” don’t even think about it” look – I don’t think this process could be done. So, I am once again at a stage in my life where I have to “Let go, or be dragged”. This time, I’m all in for letting go.

Let Go orBe Dragged.
